Visionary beginnings
01Founded in 1990 by visionaries Davide Lucchetti and Lorenzo Foschi, Frame by Frame emerged from a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of visual effects and new technology.
Humble roots
02We started as a small group of CGI and technology enthusiasts in Rome, united by our love for creative innovation and the desire to bring imaginative ideas to life on screen. That’s our DNA.

Internationalisation
06Since 2020, Frame by Frame has launched a growth plan. While its VFX dept. is internationalising working at projects with Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Marvel, HBO, MG, the company is progressively evolving into an integrated ecosystem where creativity, production and innovation converge through projects in Virtual Production, VR, Interactive and Social media.

07In 2025, Frame by Frame S.p.A. evolved into a fully integrated creative and technology ecosystem, bringing together five specialized units: Frame, Frame Collective, Frameworks, Fred and Ultratoys.
From post-production and VFX to strategy, creative technology, branded entertainment, experimentation and production, this structure allows ideas to be developed as one continuous system, ensuring coherence, scalability and high-end quality across formats.

Our team operates from four state-of-the-art studios in the heart of Rome, featuring 15 editing suites, 2 grading theaters, and 2 broadcast HDR 4K color grading suites.
