Passion for colors and color grading. Fascinated by how in the actual filmmaking real colors aren't used anymore. As a matter of facts colors we rely on, help us to enlarge our imagination and connect ourself to certain emotions or memories. Colors are subjective and depend strongly on experiences and a number of other perceptual phenomena. The role of the colorist is so appealing to me, because it has to interpret all of this stimuli and put them together, translated in picture. A colorist is the crucial link between creative ideas and technical skill.These are the reasons I felt in love with it.
I have always wanted to do something which was a perfect blend between art and tech. With a strong background in art, photography and cinematography mixed with my nerdy technical side, which I have been cultivating from an early age, I am delighted I found Frame by Frame in my path.
