BioAfter having completed my Illustration degree and furthering my skills in computer graphics and 3d as a self-taught, I had the opportunity to work as a flame and flint assistant in Big Apple and thus begin my career path in post production and vfx.
I spent a few years in Rome and Turin working as a flame/flint artist in some of the leading companies of the time, but my interest in the international film industry brought me to London. Given my very scholastic knowledge of English the flame option, which involves close contact with clients, was excluded, I then got into vfx films working for a few months as a roto artist even working the night shift.
Since I left Italy, I have been at MPC, Dneg and Framestore in the UK, and also had the opportunity to work in Australia and Canada. I grew professionally from roto artist to compositor, and then from lead to 2d Supervisor.
I returned to Rome to explore the possibilities that the intense Italian industry could offer me.
Frame was able to give me the international reach I was looking for with talented colleagues I met abroad. I am delighted that they welcomed me and included me in their working group.
