Frame by Frame took part in and sponsored the Visual Effects and CGI Animation Festival organized by the Visual Effects Association (AVFX) on March 3rd at Casa del Cinema in Rome.

Fabio Cerrito (VFX Supervisor) and Francesca Lombardi (VFX Producer) shared the challenges faced and the solutions adopted for ‘Elf Me,’ a successful case history that involved the synergistic collaboration of eight vendors for the visual effects processing of the film.

Marco Geracitano (VFX Supervisor), Marco Panci (CG Supervisor), and Alice Antognozzi (VFX Producer), along with Martina Gismondo (Senior Compositor at RISE), presented ‘Siccità’ by Paolo Virzì, which was awarded at the David di Donatello 2023 for Best Visual Effects.

Fabio Cerrito also participated in the focus panel “VFX SUPERVISION ITALY | WORLD” alongside Alessio Bertotti (VFX Supervisor), Fabio Tomassetti (Blackstone), Filippo Robino (Alps Studios), Gergely Velki (Lineamentum), and Giacomo Mineo (DNEG), moderated by Stefano Leoni (EDI). A discussion about the key role of a VFX Supervisor at both national and international levels.
