Born in Rome, raised in Rome, British adopted.
Architect but never built a thing.

I have been working in feature films for almost 20 years originally as 3D Generalist in Frame by Frame then hooked by the FX world. Joined DNEG where I have been strongly involved in fluid dynamic simulations, complex rigid body destructions and other natural and supernatural phenomena using various software. Suddenly become part of the core team developing new tools and formulating brand new techniques.

Presenter / Panelist at Siggraph 2015 with a talk on water simulations and new technologies used on Wachowski’s Jupiter Ascending.

After a “brief” period of time of 8 years in London, in 2018 I have decided to go back to the first love and joined back Frame by Frame with the role of Head of VFX Department / VFX Supervisor.

Since then, I have made my experience available to directors, clients etc, in translating their ideas in sequence of images that would tell a story and amaze people…and I cannot be happier of that.
